So I made this list – 10 characters who changed so much you’d think they got a whole new anime. some got stronger, some got sadder, all got cooler. let’s cry (or laugh) together.

I’m talking about then vs now. Some go from zero to hero, some get super strong, and some get totally broken. Here’s my list of 10 popular anime characters with a massive glow-up (or dark-up). He has sage mode, nine-tailed fox power, and a cool cape. Plus he finally married Hinata and became a dad. His heart stayed the same – always saving friends. That’s why he’s number one.

But his design changed a lot too – from short hair to that messy man bun.

He have different forms in the series like super saiyan 1,2,3,4 and even super saiyan god and blue and ultra instinct. His biggest rival is vegeta who is also a very popular anime character and both are saiyans from another planet. The god thing about goku is his heart because goku is a very kind hearted person who dont kill any one without any big reason like how he did against frieza and other villains he always gives chance to other to become good from evil and he gave everybody a chance. Goku have 2 kids gohan and goten and he is a good father and son combo and they care for each other a lot and they are also very kind hearted.

His design from kid to adult is a total glow-up: sharper face, longer hair, and that cape.

Then he went through even more pain and became the One-Eyed King. His transformation is both physical and mental. He went from crying a lot to being cold… then back to soft. Tokyo Ghoul fans know the feels.

Now he has a cool scar, a black blade, and the Hinokami Kagura dance. But the important thing: he stayed kind. Even when fighting demons he feels bad for them. That’s why we love him. His look got sharper but his eyes are still soft.

But his “now” in the final season is heartbreaking. He lost so many friends, got injured by the thunder spear, and ended up in a wheelchair. He’s still alive but you can see the pain in his eyes. His look changed too – more tired, bandaged, but still cleaning.

His “now” is stylish and viral on TikTok.
